Teaching Tuesdays

Where Play is the Best Lesson

Designed for homeschooling families, Teaching Tuesdays provides fun, inclusive, and enriching learning experiences outside the home. At Play Palace, every jump, climb, and imaginative adventure is a valuable, hands-on lesson. Our unique, all-abilities facility is the perfect environment for children to develop critical skills naturally, without the classroom feel.

Our facility is a dynamic learning lab that highlights the best of play-based education:

  • Play Castle (Cognitive): Navigate our giant structure to solve problems, strategize, and build critical thinking and spatial awareness.

  • Thrive Cove & Dream Cloud (Sensory): Sea and sky-themed rooms designed to stimulate senses, foster emotional regulation, and support all learning styles.

  • Physical Literacy: Climbing, running, and ball pit play naturally refine gross motor skills, balance, and coordination.

  • Social & Emotional Growth: Cooperative play and role-playing teach communication, empathy, and vital social skills.

  • Language & Creativity: Free play sparks conversations, storytelling, and imaginative narratives.

Peaceful Play

Experience our entire kingdom in a calm, uncrowded setting. Peaceful Play is a dedicated time slot designed to reduce sensory input, making it the perfect place for little explorers to Dream. Play. Thrive. at their own pace. While we are always an all-abilities facility, Peaceful Play is our most sensory-friendly environment of the week.

Peaceful Play hours feature specific adjustments to create a low-stimulation environment:

  • Atmosphere: The overall volume is lowered, and music is turned off or played very softly.

  • Lighting: The main Play Castle and facility lights are dimmer to reduce visual stimulation.

  • Capacity: We strictly cap attendance at 20 children to ensure the space remains uncrowded and quiet, allowing for easier movement and focus.

  • Sensory Access: Dedicated Sensory Rooms (Thrive Cove and Dream Cloud) are available for quiet regulation and focused play.
